to rebuild awful credit. When payments are made late on credit cards, it could stay on credit reports for years. Late payments or delinquent payments is what can cause awful credit fast.
Tips to Rebuild Awful Credit:
* Try getting a store card (Like a Sears Card), always make payments on time or only charge what can be paid in full to
build awful credit over time.
* Start using prepaid cards, later apply for unsecured cards.
* Apply for a small loan at a Credit Union using a CD for collateral to build a good credit history and establish contacts.
* Apply for a checking account at a bank and don't bounce checks to establish a good credit history.
